Job Description:
? Conduct exploratory data analysis in support of Analyst-led research projects
? Conduct analysis in support of improved data quality, answer questions regarding data
? Evaluate new data sources, recommend possible uses. Identifies and evaluates new data sources consistent with market needs and overall GDIA (Global Data Insights and Analytics) vision/strategy
? Maintains current inventory of GDIA analytic data. Makes available to the business
? Translate analytic project requirements into requests for data (to 3rd parties or Ford IT)
? Conducts vendor evaluations and participates in negotiating agreements for the sourcing of data and related technical services
? Recommend changes to the data models and related systems in support of analytic activities
Qualifications:
? Master Degree above with 5 years of data analysis working experience
? Preferred: Business, Business Systems, MIS or equivalent work experience
? Demonstrated knowledge of consumer and VIN oriented database compilation
? Demonstrated knowledge of consumer marketing data requirements
? Ability to effectively communicate needs, proposals, etc.
? Experience working directly with IT to translate business needs into development specifications
? Ability to effectively communicate data quality / acquisition activities in written and verbal formats
? Ability to manage third party data / service providers
