Job description

IBM SVC/Storwize Storage System is IBM Mid-range storage, designed for software-defined environments, the Storwize family includes technologies that both complement and enhance virtual environments, as well as built-in functions. Available in a wide range of storage systems, the Storwize family delivers sophisticated capabilities that are easy to deploy, also help control costs for growing businesses.

SVC/Storwize Test team is responsible for Functional Test and System Test for all Storwize family product including manual testing and automation. All related testing activities include test specification analysis and environment configuration, test plan design, test case execution, trouble shooting and defect handling, etc. We also provide technical support to IBM Customer and BP in Storwize product.

Required Skills:

Major in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Rich experience on Linux or Windows or AIX

Excellent test design and test case development skills

Familiar with test methodology and test automation framework

Solid experience in defect tracking and quality assurance

Good experience in test automation development, familiar with Shell/Perl/Python/Java is a plus

Experience with Storage products is plus

Experience on virtualization technology of VMWare or Microsoft is plus

Excellent teamwork and Good team player

Excellent Communication skill and good English presentation skill

Strong responsibility and initiative

High self-motivation, and innovative

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multi-site team

Adaptability in changing environment

Bachelor's Degree. (Master's Degree is preferred)

At least 3 years testing experience in hardware or software engineering, preferable storage domain
