Java Developer ESB/Eclipse
(Based in Beijing, R&D Dept - Application Integration, Talend China)

Job description:
As part of the new Application Integration R&D group, the Software Developer - Eclipse/Maven Tooling will be responsible for developing, integrating and optimizing the Talend Enterprise Service Bus Product in the area of developer focused tooling. Within this position the development will mainly be focused on development of Eclipse Plugins and Maven related extensions/archetypes.

Responsibilities:
- Technical conception and implementation of new product features, with focus on Eclipse /Maven based Plugins/Extensions
- Unit and integration testing (JUnit)
- Maintenance of existing product components
- Carrying out POCs to demonstrate the relevance of the technical choices

Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- moth than one year Java experience and at least 1 year Eclipse RCP /Plugin Development experience prefered
- Practical experience to create Eclipse based UI's / Plugins
-Experience using at least one of Eclipse Plugin Development, ideally but not necessarily experience in EMF, GMF, WTP
- Experience in using and enhancing Apache Maven
- Good understanding of XML, XSLT and XML Schema
- Good understanding of SOAP and REST based services
- Good understanding of building Java Standalone, Servlet, JEE, Spring and OSGi based -tier applications with the Eclipse IDE.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work within a local and distributed international team environment.
- Experience/comfortable working in Open Source Software Development projects
