Position: Compliance - Network

Your Responsibilities:

1. Adaptation of communication campaign to Chinese cultural and language specifications to create awareness of high risk compliance topics. Execute the spread of knowledge to VGC companies by establishing a regular communication channel and providing a systematic approach for information sharing.
2. Ongoing communication with 3rd party service providers in the course of third party service delivery; execution of internal arrangements included in sourcing process (negotiations with relevant departments), compiling of relevant documents.
3. Adaptation of training program to Chinese language in Volkswagen Group China companies; organization of High Risk Compliance Trainings in Chinese language in component companies. Chinese language communication with business units through incorporation of various initiatives (such as the Code of Conduct awareness and Business Partners Check) into their daily work processes.
4. Maintain the function of a contact person for component companies of Volkswagen Group China by provision of first-line consultancy service regarding compliance topics (daily work questions, trainings, communication campaigns, Complince Managemnet System, etc.). Keep track of Compliance Responsible Persons’ activities regarding Training and Communication in component companies. Design regular information rounds, e-mail communication and face-to-face meetings with Compliance Responsible Persons. Adjust and improve Compliance Management Program, including processes, and systems in accordance with identified risks, incidents, and developments in international laws and domestic regulations and VGC’s general compliance.
5. Through the use of established communication lines with Volkswagen Group China companies and with integration of Compliance Network Group, ensure an opportunity for Risk Management topic to be integrated in to VGC companies’ processes by serving as contact person with Compliance Responsible Persons in VGC companies and ensure the necessary and timely communication with VGC companies.
Support in communication to K-GOR as well as report to GRC VGC on Risk Management topics.

6. Integration of current changes in laws and regulations due to governmental anti-corruption campaign to compliance measures;
? Close cooperation with and under the supervision of the General Counsel conduct research of business areas and interview managers to identify high-threat areas and risk of illegal or improper conduct.
? Review established Compliance Programs at other Multinational Corporations to benchmark best practices.
? Work with Internal Audit to follow up on systemic problems revealed during their audits.
? Provide specialist advice and assistance to business units in developing and implementing regulatory initiatives and policies.

Requirements:

Necessary education:
? Degree in International Law
? Further qualification in training, business development
Personal skills:
? Effective communication in groups and diverse audiences
? Practical Knowledge about company common processes
? Keen perception to react fast in a high-risk environment
? Practical experience and managing skills to act independent and responsible
? Strong sense of ethics
? Flexibility in adjusting to rapid market and company changes
Working experience (in years):
? Min. 2 years
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? Fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin, German desired.
