You’ll be part of the solution for today’s leading business challenges by utilizing Microsoft technology coupled with Avanade’s proprietary assets to solve real world issues. You’ll develop deep customer relationships that help take your customers to the next level in their competitive space.

As a Solutions Architect, your focus will be to add value to our customers by leading large multi-skilled teams that will architect, develop, test and deliver mission critical enterprise solutions using technologies such as the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, BizTalk Server, SharePoint Server, Microsoft CRM and other advanced components of the Microsoft technology stack.

You will provide professional consulting services on major enterprise initiatives that deliver business benefit for our customers and utilise the Microsoft platform for custom development, enterprise integration, service oriented solutions, enterprise portals and mobile applications.

You will build management, technical and planning skills by participating in large projects. You will improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers. You will contribute to our vast repository of intellectual property as we employ Microsoft technologies to create a dramatically more personal, integrated computing experience.

• Proficiency in multiple Microsoft application development languages (ASP.NET, C++, C#, Visual Basic .NET)
• Proficiency in multiple Microsoft Server Platforms or Frameworks (Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Commerce Server, Microsoft CRM, Customer Care Framework, Connected Services Framework etc)
• Proficiency in all of the following development methodologies (Object Oriented Development, Component based development, Patterns and Design for reuse)
• An in depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and relevant development methodologies
• SQL Databases (Query Languages and Tools)
• Willingness to travel, on an as required basis, to customer locations
• Proficiency in the use of Sales Tools and Selling Techniques.

Preferred Requirements

• MCPD/MCSD/MCAD Certification
• Enterprise Architecture Methodology
