Position Details Seeking an individul with hands on and being mechanically inclined.
Knowledgeable in SPC methodology
Modification of printed circuit board components, typically requiring bench top soldering and re-work
Operation of various Measurement equipment
Familiar with Microscope operation, and various Optical Testers
Data collection and documentation
Inventory reconciliation
Maintain test equipment and work environment of an electrical/optical engineering laboratory.
Keep laboratory test equipment in current calibration condition as appropriate.
Various duties as necessary to support new product development and evaluation.
Must be able to communicate effectively

Required Qualifications AA Degree Electronics, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years as electronics/ engineering lab technician

Resourceful technical problem solver
Strong knowledge of soldering and rework tools, certification desirable
Knowledge of proper and effective use of lab test equipment
General analog and digital circuit analysis skills
Ability to troubleshoot and debug circuits

Good understanding of electronics
Substantial knowledge of electronics engineering lab technician role, practices, techniques and equipment
Optics and optical modules experience a plus
