Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the technical work for HVDC service business, coach and lead service technical team

- Establish the strategy for working with the sales and PM team.

- Maintain, develop and implement a technical capability/competence plan, detailing required activities for the support of the local service businesses development.

- Co-ordinate the technical issues between Sweden ABB, other local ABB BUs, and customers to ensure satisfactory sales & contract execution.

- Advise on contract technical details, from initial sales discussions through contract execution to operation

- Provide technical support during contract execution.

- Advise on HVDC Service technical requirements, and support potential order pursuing activities to develop the service business.

- Represent the company to attend customer meeting for service related technical discussions

- Review and develop service/product offerings in order to deliver competitive advantage.

- Other jobs assigned by service manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor or above degree on electrical engineering, power system automation or related majors is required

- At least 7 years’ experience in power system or power product field

- Have capability and experience of leading team to perform technical tasks

- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, written and spoken

- Familiar with HVDC control and protection systems is an advantage

- Experience on power product manufacture, maintenance is an advantage

- Frequent traveling in region, O/T work at request, team work oriented, ability to work independently, good communication skill in verbal and writing
