Position: Sales Controller
Division/Department: Sales, After Sales and Warranty Controlling / Finance
Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

? Obtain and analyze all sales cost elements for all affiliated companies of VW Group in China
? Support the development of a standardized sales performance and profit contribution reporting process for the Region China and implementation in all VW Group sales companies
? Support the setting up of the market premises for annual Planning Round calculation and yearly budget planning with a focus on specifics in Chinese Automobile Market in order to sustain profitability
? Supporting Sales Controlling Manager on the daily works

Your Responsibilities:

? Make suggestions on how to improve the feasibility of upcoming sales and marketing activities from an entrepreneurial perspective
? Introduce / optimize the Standard Group Reporting on:
- Sales performance,
- Tactical,
- Profit Contributions,
- Perform deviation analysis and define countermeasures for target achievement
? Participate & actively support in the definition of competitor baskets, car equipment settings, customer value for equipment
? Monitor the Price Index of the models compared to competitor baskets; active steering of price index deviations
? Analyze the sales and marketing related costs of all VW Group China entities per car lines
? Integrate new business areas into Sales Controlling function (e.g.):
- Used car business,
- Corporate fleet car business,
- Wholesales Funding & NSC business
? Execute specific tasks on Sales related areas:
- Ad hoc reports analysis,
- Feasibility studies Tax optimization with tax experts,
- Other tasks of discretion of urgent requirements
? BOD Preparations & commentary on affiliated of VW Group China:
- Coordinate the BoD process
- Review Financial related BoD Documents
- Prepare a commentary and suggestions for the BoD Members
- Follow up on tasks agreed on in the BoD Meetings

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:
? B.A. in Finance, Economics, Business Administration university degree
(or Sales & Marketing as major)
? Master’s Degree is a plus

Personal skills:
? Strong communication skills, reliable / attention to detail
? Be self-initiative and have a very strong organizational ability
? Very strong intercultural communication, convincing and problem solving skills with regard to the joint venture situation
? First team-leading experiences advantageous
? Profound finance and controlling knowledge as well as accounting knowledge
? Contributing innovative approaches as a detailed sales controlling has not been established yet
? Ability to make complex circumstances transparent with the help of controlling instruments that need to be implemented in the JVs
? Willingness to go on business trips within JV and to HQ locations

Working experience (in years):
? 2-3 years in similar function (Controlling or Sales)
? 4-5 years in non-controlling Finance function

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? Fluent in English, conversational in German or Chinese language
? Excel / PowerPoint / SAP skills
