Position title: Supplier Quality Engineer





Location: Beijing





Main task:

Examine, analyze and solve problems in quality, production and control directly at the supplier’s location to improve the quality of part and component supply.





Duties and responsibilities:

Direct and lead Systems Supplier Quality (SSQ) group to achieve departmental objectives

Initiate and drive the development of SSQpolicies and procedures

Design supplier development and quality management tools

Prepare, track and report the annual departmental budget as well as review and approve departmental expenditures

Maintainand track APQP status of all suppliers on Systems Projects

Interface with customers to assure that all supplier quality concerns and issues are resolved

Liaise with suppliers to track and close all quality concerns

Identify root cause for all quality concerns and develop as well as implement permanent corrective actions

Monitor supplier ratings and assure that minimum rating compliance per procedure is maintained





Competencies and experiences:

Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, or Related Field

Fluent in both written and oral English

Min. five years of automotive quality experience

Min. three years of management experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Profound knowledge of manufacturing quality principles and techniques

Experience in statistical control methods as well as ISO and/or QS9000 Systems

Solid PC skills
