Role Description
Job Summary – (Role Summary)
Deliver hotel Sales training, hotel Marketing Communications training and new hotel sales & marketing training to hotel staff across all IHG? brands. Develop training content and skills measurements to drive functional knowledge relevant to daily work in our hotels’ Sales & Marketing teams. Leverage new technologies and scalable methods to deliver trainings. Align training objectives with functional objectives and hotel career paths. Support leadership trainings given to high potential hotel staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities, maximum 5 activities)
1. Deliver remote trainings and classroom trainings to hotel Sales staff, hotel Marketing Communications staff and new hotel sales & marketing staff.
2. Partner with stakeholders to design and create training content and measurements that are aligned with functional standard operating procedures and relevant to the daily work in hotel Sales & Marketing teams.
3. Organize and support leadership trainings for high potential hotel Sales & Marketing staff
4. Develop new training delivery channels and platforms by leveraging new technologies online and through mobile
5. Communicate Sales & Marketing trainings and results to internal and external stakeholders to drive training awareness
Role Qualifications and Technical Skills
Skills –
Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage audiences in-person or remotely
Able to design clear measurements and tracking methods fort training compliance
Proven ability in working with cross-function teams and/or multi-region teams
Knowledge of any Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be an advantage
Sales skills and/or Marketing Communications skills will be an advantage
Qualifications –
Degree or certification in Hotels, Training, Sales, Marketing Communications or relevant fields
Experience –
Minimum 4 or more years of Training, Sales or Marketing Communications experience for hotels or an international company in retail, food & beverage or e-commerce industries

Key Metrics –
Participation rate of hotel staff for each training delivered
Quiz or project scores for each participant
Ratings and feedback in post-training surveys
Decision Rights –
In accordance with band 7 and in discussion with supervisor.
4. KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Key Internal Relationships –
Functional owners or program/system/tool owners to develop and deliver trainings
Sub-Regional Sales & Marketing team to communicate, deliver and assess trainings in hotels
Operational Leadership Team (OLT) including Area General Managers and Regional General Managers to ensure training compliance in hotels
Hotel Delivery team to review any launch of new programs/systems/tools that will impact existing trainings
Global training partners to localize global training content for local hotel staff
Key External Relationships –
Create and maintain relationships with external training consultants and vendors providing eLearning, learning management systems, collaterals or videos
