Job Title: ODM Material Group Manager
Working location: Shanghai
Goal of function:
Securing strategic purchasing marketing fort the material field ODM business to get best terms and conditions of an excellent supplier base.
Main Responsibilities:
?Definition and implementation of an optimal sourcing strategy, active preparation of a (partially business unit overlapping) Supplier and Material Strategy and targets to enable global strategy targets and secure maximum productivity and cost targets as well as ensure material supply on a maximum level and implement joint cost targets right from the start to achieve maximum contribution to business unit targets. Secure commercial success of the project.
?Negotiation of contracts, costs and terms and conditions to secure material supply.
?Technology scouting; Pooling of demand of different locations and on corporate level for optimal use of purchasing potentials
?Supplier Management to acquire best suppliers and secure an optimal supply chain (jointly with partner functions Development, Quality, Logistics, etc.)
?Intensive and regular contact to internal and external interfaces to identify developments (market, demand) and coordinate reactions
?Reporting, transparent presentation of results and result oriented management of purchasing activities via IT-Tools (MODIAS)
?Interdisciplinary working groups / project work to be informed, exert influence and optimize internal processes and workflows
?Global purchasing marketing to create a base fort the decision of an optimal sourcing strategy esp. including analysis of the supply market.
Job Requirement
?Bachelor degree or above, major in telecommunications electrical engineering, computer science or related field;
?Minimum 3-5 years in different functions of purchasing and cross-functional experience through assignment in adjoining functions
?Project experience in advanced
?Strong leadership capability, have experience of leading a group
?Intercultural experience through assignment in foreign countries and resp. orientation and negotiation skills preferable
?Good team leader management skill;
?Flexibility to travel at home and abroad;
?Fluent English in verbal and written for communication mandatory. German not mandatory, but would help in the communication with the HQ function.
