1.1 Job Description:
1) Market Requirement Gathering
Proactively communicate with the business teams (including Sales and BD) or with the customers/partners directly when necessary to gather feedbacks, requests, issues and suggestions on the product (both B5M and SF1R).
2) Market Requirement Analysis
Conduct analysis and prioritization on the information feed from sales/BD in order to translate the information into trackable and implementable product function/features/improvement requests that can be understood by the development team. Document these requests in MRD (Market Requirement Documents). Communicate with the internal teams including Product, SF1R Customer Support, SF1R Professional Services, SF1R main team and Web Development team on MRD.
3) Market Requirement Tracking
Participate technical discussions with the internal teams to generate product design document that will implement the requirements in MRD. Participate in planning sessions. Track the delivery of the requirements via various plan control and monitoring mechanisms including weekly team meetings.
4) Communicate Roadmap to Business People
Communicate the product roadmap, feature delivery schedule to the business teams. Update the business teams with internal teams project plan execution status.
5) Professional Services and Customer Support Team Management
1.2 Requirements:
1) Strong analytical ability based on savvy knowledge on Internet technology. Previous experience in search technology a big plus.
2) At least 7 years experience on a managerial role in R&D, professional services or consulting settings.
3) Strong communication skill
4) Open and out-going personality
5) BS/BE degree in Computer and Information Science or related field.
