Civil engineer - Structural Health Monitoring

Position: Structural Health Monitoring Engineer
As OSMOS is extending its customer and geographic base in Asia, you will be a key member of the technical support team, based in Beijing, for China. You will be under the responsibility of the OSMOS Asia Technical Manager.
As main responsibilities you will have to:
- Analyse structures in order to select the required sensors, quantity, and location, for proper monitoring.
- Analyse the data from the monitoring.
- Diagnose the health of the structure according to the structure and the data results.
- Assist the sales team to present the technical benefits and usage of the monitoring.
- Report to Management on objectives/actions and results on a monthly basis
- Keep a well documented system of equipment, accessories under your responsibility.
- Oversee the installation of equipment directly or through partners

Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2-5 years experience in Structural or civil engineering. Preferred experience in infrastructures: tunnelling, bridges, railways.
Experience in infrastructure design analysis is a +
Experience in Structural Health Monitoring at any level is a big +
You have worked for a main contractor, consultant or sub-contractor.
You have hands-on site experience and you agree to work on-site.
You know how to work in teams, especially international ones.
You are open to extensive travel, 30% of the time
You are independent and self-starting.
You are clear and careful in your work
You make or follow decisions and know how to follow through effectively.
You are a team member dedicated to the overall success of the Company.
