Announced in mid 2010, this business will be providing avionics systems for China’s first large commercial aircraft, the COMAC C919. Role Summary/Purpose

Manage Electrical/Mechanical systems and other facilities equipment to meet office/Lab/manufacture needs. Manage outsourcing supplier to deliver high quality and reliable service. Manage facility project, testing& commissioning and handover.

Essential Responsibilities

- Manage daily office facility operations to ensure office runs smoothly. - Overseeing outsourced facility services/vendors. - Participate in the technical evaluations of vendor’s capability and capacity. Manage vendors and suppliers to continuously improve their service quality. - Manage Lab/Manufacture facility operation, equipment maintenance, trouble shooting. - Utilizes Six Sigma/Lean to continuously improve internal and outsourced performance. - Seek the optimized operation through effective using of IBMS , FMS, etc and well trained staff and vendors to save utilities, running and maintenance cost. Initiate energy saving/conservation programs. - Manages relationships between customers and other service departments (IT, Sourcing and Vendors). - Manages operation and project budget planning and control of responsible functions. - Develop Systems and Equipment Operation and Maintenance SOP and all other necessary documents. - Manage facility project, lab setup, manufacture setup. Communicate with internal customer to meet company needs. - Develop and execute Systems and Equipment T&C and hand over process and checklist.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.- Major in electrical/mechanical engineering.- 10+ years’ solid track record with strong facility operation experience, project management experience, preferred in a large scale MNC. Experience in large manufacture or R&D is a must.- 5+ years’ working experience as facility manager/project manager is a must. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Rich experience in communicating with local government. Familiar with local government law and regulation. - Fluent oral and written English.- Experience in starting up large facility site, building hi-tech lab environment preferred- Strong project management skills. Rich experience in project management in large facilities.
