The mission of IBM System z Brand organization includes technical strategy, architecture and design, portfolio management, lifecycle management, product, solutions and project management. Ownership and responsibility to our product and solution development is shared between the US and China brand organizations.

We are looking for a Program Manager, who will join the Program Management Office in GCG System z Brand team to work with worldwide stakeholder to manage both worldwide and GCG project and program. The Program Manager will ben given an opportunity to work in cross-competency environment with lots of interactions with both IBM internal teams and Business Partners. The Program Manager will be responsible for assembling program plans, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, looking upon to help coordinate communication with all areas that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Key Attributes:

Align organizational/strategic direction that affects projects and program goals and objectives Resolve issues and change management within a shared governance structure Accountable to executive sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of all program components.

Understand partners’ organization and culture, business model and objectives. Build relationships with senior executives, and key technical leaders. Understand where System z can play a role the partners’ business, organization and strategy,

Required

Bachelor's Degree

At least 5 years’ experience in Program or Project Management in a multinational IT corporations, understand IBM project management processes and methodologies.

At least 5 years’ experience in leadership skills with proven track record in delivering on-time, on-budget results

Readiness to travel 30% travel annually
