The mission of IBM System z Brand organization includes technical strategy, architecture and design, portfolio management, lifecycle management, product, solutions and project management. Ownership and responsibility to our product and solution development is shared between the US and China brand organizations.

We are looking for a System z Brand Solution offering Manager, who will join the Program Management Office in GCG System z Brand team. This role will work with worldwide stakeholder to drive vision and strategic direction of the solution, define the roadmap and go to market strategies, understand the competition as well as working closely with technical strategist to build out use cases, and manage the solution offering on a daily basis. The job responsibilities include,

• Working closely with IBM team and external customers to understand the market segment and competition in the solution area • Working with solution architect to build a best-in-class solution • Ensuring development is on track to deliver critical capabilities to customers in a timely manner • Understanding licensing, pricing and packaging options and implementing those that support customer use cases and drive maximum revenue for IBM • Supporting sales teams with customer opportunities

Required

Bachelor's Degree

At least 3 years experience in customer-facing experience

At least 3 years experience in proven track record working successfully with development

At least 3 years experience in understanding of IBM platform technologies, prefer system z

Readiness totravel 30% travel annually
