Job Description:
This is a system integration position for Spirent's Performance Analysis Wireless Division. The successful candidate will be a member of the engineering team developing application hardware and software for Spirent's industry leading LTE mobile test systems. This includes the development of product requirements, representation with standards bodies, design of algorithms, and the integration and verification of complex hardware and integrated software systems. The successful candidate will implement new products as well as enhancements to existing products and have leadership responsibilities. Product areas include hardware and system components used for testing LTE wireless devices for compliance to several industry standards. Hardware and complex systems design may include analysis of standards, partitioning of functionality, and system analysis. Development responsibilities include specification, scheduling, design, implementation, and coordination of project tasks. This coordination may involve the work of other engineers and/or technicians. Design and specification responsibilities include system architecture, high-level design and detailed design mainly at the instrument and system level. This position is in Beijing.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Development responsibilities include system level specification, design, implementation, and design verification of complex hardware and integrated software systems2. Definition and verification of system calibration routines and algorithms3. Validation of hardware and system performance for key parameters governed by Standards specification, product specifications, or other requirements.4. Support colleagues on troubleshooting complicated problems involving SW and HW (Digital and RF).5. Create technical design documents, manufacturing support documentation, and source material for user documentation

Job Requirement:
1. BSEE/BSCE required. MSEE/MSCE highly desired.
2. Master degree with minimal 5 years working experience, or bachelor degree with minimal 7 years working experience, in telecommunications industry.
3. R&D experience on communication systems, especially on 3G/4G wireless technologies. Have good knowledge of RF and HW of access network.
4. Rich experience in international company and exposure to working with global teams
5. Rich experience with RF test equipment and RF system design
6. Familiarity with TestStand and/or LabView, or similar tools, and/or Visual Basic or other high level programming language
7. Good English communication skill
8. Motivated, self-starter who likes challenging work
9. Excellent problem solving skills and team-oriented approach
Following skills are DESIRED:
Experience with software/hardware integration and debuggingExperience with design verification testing of wireless terminals
