Job Description:Responsible for executing various aspects of AIG Travel’s Airline, Online Travel Agency (OTA), and Alternative Channel (collectively, “Strategic Accounts”) strategies in China, with an emphasis on major accounts.

Responsibilities include:
? Intermediated Sales Management
o Directly responsible for the assigned Strategic Accounts portfolio’s top line performance with focus on meeting – and exceeding – revenue budget targets
o Analyze sales results to determine best course of action to meet sales targets
o Reach sales goals within agreed underwriting, risk profile, and expense guidelines
? Account Management
o Personally build, manage, and maintain relationships with assigned Strategic Accounts at various levels of management (including support of multi-national accounts from other countries and regions) through best-in-class service quality
o Design, plan and execute activities – including but not limited to product, distribution, marketing, training, and customer campaign activities - within AIG Travel’s insurance yield management framework to reach budgeted production
o Manage assigned accounts pro-actively including formal scheduled reviews/meetings, activity dashboards/pipelines, best practice sharing, and sales reporting
o Collaborate with respective in-country and regional functional stakeholders such as finance, call center, claims, and regional program management to ensure smooth end-to-end operation of programs
? Business Development
o Lead and support prospect management, tender responses, client presentations, negotiations, and business closing; with particular focus on OTAs and new travel distribution channels; and in support of multi-national accounts from other countries or regions
? Strategic Direction Setting
o Support the Strategic Account Manager in building strategic plans
o Ensure intimate knowledge of assigned account news, customers, and market trends; and identify potential opportunities and challenges
? Communication & Marketing
o Participate in the planning and attendance of in-country industry events;
o Develop internal and external communications including offline and online marketing materials working with respective stakeholders where necessary.
o Document best practices for various aspects of the Strategic Account business are documented and shared.

Job Requirements:

? Diploma, degree
? Experience in some of these fields, with an advantage if experienced in all: business development, account management and IT/operations management
? Team player with experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
? Organised with exceptional attention to detail
? Strong initiative and drive; an entrepreneurial spirit and results-oriented
? Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
? Technology savvy
? Strong proficiency in English required
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project required; proficiency in Photoshop and other graphics software preferred
? Experience in matrix management within a large, multi-national organization
