Responsibilities: The responsibilities in China will include, but not limited to:

1) Identify new opportunities for growth, represent new businesses, in underserved Chinese seed markets.
2) Analyze market opportunities and financial investment returns, communicate with internal groups to build alignment and path forward;
3) Assess and execute on these growth opportunities through licenses, collaborations and partnerships that are in white space areas for Pioneer-China Business. The work will be done in collaboration with DuPont Pioneer China business, Business Development, Corn Research and Product Development, Legal, and may require collaboration with Pioneer China Joint Ventures, and other DuPont groups.
4) Lead the process around 3rd Party Agreements, including deal structuring, negotiation with 3rd Party representatives, implementing agreement renewal, ensuring Agreements are executable and compliant with applicable laws and regulations; collaborating with Legal Counsel and Pioneer Business Development functions
5) Establish a Pioneer-China inoculants business through leveraging Pioneer Foliage and Inoculants Business and collaborating with Pioneer-China JVs
6) Develop and oversee operation for inoculants and import/export procedures, coordinate with DuPont Pioneer teams globally and 3rd party agencies
7) Manage relationships between Pioneer and 3rd parties
8) Partner with DuPont Pioneer Business Affairs team, and participate in the industry consortium to address common issues (government policies, registration or regulatory processes, public outreach, etc.)


Qualification:

? Advanced degree in Agricultural Sciences, with a MBA or business experience preferred.
? Excellent articulating and writing skills in both Mandarin and English
? Good track record of performance and can work independently with minimal supervision
? Creative in providing win-win solutions to meet customer needs
? Experienced in negotiation and conflict resolution
? Excellent people and organization skills
? Can adapt changes quickly and learn new things fast

The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont have announced their intent to combine in an all-stock merger of equals. The merger is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017 and the new company will be named DowDuPont. Within 18-24 months of the merger, DowDuPont intends to spinoff entities resulting in three separate and independent publicly traded companies, subject to regulatory and board approval. At the time of the spin, employees will be moved to one of the three companies.
