?Responsibilities
1. Project Planning
1) Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding parameters, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
2) Owns project schedule; responsible for conducting team meetings, delegating tasks, and managing project activities across multiple departments and functions
2. Budget Management
1) Owns project costs; Is responsible for managing change orders and tracking budget versus actuals
3. Risk Management
1) Controls and manages the project risk register (related to cash, schedule and quality) and communicates it to executive management regularly
2) Troubleshoots issues as they arise; evaluates alternatives and proposes solutions
4. Stakeholder management
Education/Experience:
This position is to be filled by a person who has had at least 15 years of experience managing and driving projects to successful completion with integrity, honesty, great attitude and great communication skills, both written and verbal.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must. Advanced degree in Engineering is strongly preferred.
2. An extensive experience in renewable energy domain or Construction will be preferred
3. Must be PMP certified
4. Ability to work effectively with field technicians, site execution team and ability to lead external EPC organization
5. Atleast 10 years of experience in Project Management / Plant Operations/ Erection & Commissioning / Maintenance Operations
6. Should have strong fundamental of engineering background either in civil, electrical or mechanical
7. Leadership experience in leading large teams
