职位描述
Mission
The Operation Buyer continuously challenges the suppliers in terms of QDCF performance for parts in serial production.
Scope: Sheet metal within Operation Common Components Japan China
Responsibilities
？ Drive negotiation in order to find extra cost savings (on top of price agreements).
？ Use VPS principles, methods, toolbox to drive efficiency across the supply chain.
？ Drive supply chain optimization (SCO), (e.g. cost workshops, total SCO), low performance supplier activities etc.
？ Responsible for initiating and/or negotiating PCRs in p-stage after project phase and PMRs.
？ Perform purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers.
？ Follow-up contracts and agreements with suppliers and ensure implementation.
？ Implement raw material updates based on contracts/negotiations made by the Sourcing buyer during the production phase.
？ Forecast cost evolution for scope of responsibility.
？ Manage risk mitigation and crisis activities.
？ Contribute to Business Review Meetings (BRMs) with production performance.
？ Give regular input to the Sourcing buyer/Supplier Host on supplier performance during the production phase.
？ Contribute to cross functional activities related to maintenance activities.
？ Propose resourcing activities if needed; drive activities related to the supplier switch and ensure the sourcing part is handed over to the Sourcing buyer.
？ Manage tooling inventory including repair & replace of tools, and follow up supplier owned tooling
？ Take required actions in order to hand-over to After Market buyer when parts are phased out of production (Hand-over 4).
？ Ensure collaboration with the other buyer roles within the respective segment(s).
Operations team to contribute to the improving Standard cost of Sales.
Own the following KPIs
- % spend of covered by Value Stream mapping
- MCL Production + Aftermarket
- PPM/QPM
- Delivery precision

Required Qualifications
？ Business acumen, MS Office
？ Business, Engineering or related field and or equivalent experience
？ 3 years’ experience in Purchasing and/or extensive negotiation experience with a supplier/customer relationship
？ Fluent in English, both written and spoken, fluent Japanese are surely plus
？ Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to take initiatives
？ Financial analysis, Cost Management and Production & Supply chain
