Job Summary and Mission
This position will perform the assistant function to ILS (International Labor Standards) Manager in coordinating with many different parties including Disney Project Management Team, Construction Management Services companies (CMC), Jian Li, Contractors, local administrative organizations, Shendi - Shanghai Disney Resort's joint venture partner and its Contractors, including, meeting coordination, record keeping, documents preparation, translation, etc.
Responsibilities
The position will support the ILS manager during project construction period. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to,
· News research of all ILS, Health & Safety, and Environment related issue.
· Local and international labor law & regulation research and update.
· Data collecting, filing of project related documentations
· Meeting notes summarization, working process and communication letters drafting.
· Translation and interpretation of ILS, H&S and Environment related documentations, laws and regulations, correspondence, etc.
· Coordination with trainings, meetings, logistics and travels
· Liaison with different project parties internally and externally.
· Follow-up of ILS, H&S and ENV related issues/actions
· Set up and maintenance of data system of Shanghai Disney Resorts Projects.
Skills and Experience:
· Have 3 years or above similar working experience.
· Bachelor degree or above. Major in Law is preferred.
· Social compliance or legal compliance experience is required.
· Working experience in Construction Company/ Global Sourcing Company / Multinational 3rd Party Audit Firm is preferred.
· Excellent translation and interpretation skill from English to Mandarin Chinese and Mandarin Chinese to English are required.
· Excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills required.
· Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize assignments and work well under pressure.
· Keenness on cultural differences among business partners and be able to bridge the cultural gap between US and Chinese partners.
· Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Computer and Internet proficiency in Chinese and English software required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
