Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Software Development Engineer who is interested in joining Platform Engineering Team. In this role, you will work with a group of talented software developers, testers and architects to ensure smooth development and quality release of Citrix products.
Primary Responsibilities:
?Understand business requirements/processes and visualize optimal solutions.
?Design, develop and implement automated tools and test architectural framework for product validation
?Participate in product specification and code reviews.
?Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other departments on technical matters.
?Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data require a review of identifiable factors.
?Recommends and executes continuous quality improvement in meeting internal and external customer requirements
Qualifications and Requirements: Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
?Expertise in one or more relevant programming languages (e.g. C++, C#), operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and OS concepts.
?Knowledge of Web technologies (HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, ASP.NET)
?Experience with Web Servers (IIS, Apache)
?Knowledge of software engineering process.
?Experience with more advanced programming environments and concepts (e.g. OS internals, Multi-Threading, Networking)
?Strong knowledge of database (SQL Server is preferred).
?Good working knowledge of security concepts
?Good knowledge of Windows/Unix Networking concepts
?Strong written and verbal communication
?Ability to work in a team, multi-task & learn quickly
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)
?BS/MS degree or equivalent in computer science or related field is required
?6 years minimum experience with developing programs or scripts and equivalent time debugging software programs in C, C++, .Net or Java.
?Experience mentoring/leading an engineering team through a technical project.
?Strong experience in at least one major OS (e.g. Windows, Linux)
