Responsibilities
The Recruitment Services Manager leads a small but highly capable team as a Center of Excellence in high-volume on boarding of local and foreign employees. The Manager in this role will lead service functions to support recruitment process, candidate pre-arrival, and candidate onboarding. In addition, he or she will provide HR services as a Center of Excellence for our extended Cast. The person who succeeds in this position is a highly-organized, analytically-gifted thought leader with exceptional team leadership capability; the role requires a solid understanding of recruitment operations, processes, business dynamics and goals. This Manager will create process and develop the team's functional expertise and capabilities. This team must be service-oriented, managing the personal nuances and specific details associated with on boarding new employees, moving foreign hires from around the world to China, and addressing the "personal life' changes for all employees. The Manager will promote consistent, excellent communication and client/guest satisfaction. He or she will also apply knowledge of Visa process, labor law, compliance requirements and company policy in day-to-day decisions to not only ensure a positive candidate experience but also uphold our Disney service standards. This role includes the following responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end recruitment logistics, pre-hire and on-boarding experience for new employees and foreign hires
Develop an HR services organization as a center of excellence to meet the needs of our extended Cast.
Lead the Recruitment Services Team, providing leadership, direction, coaching and development as appropriate
Build effective relationships with clients and partners, requiring strong proactive communication, the ability to manage disagreements appropriately, and a strong service orientation.
Oversee and provide daily leadership to all activities with the extended Recruitment Services organization
Manage the daily operations including planning of resources, managing the department budget, deploying staff, maintaining operational efficiency and delivering guest service.
Provide continuous improvement through understanding of measurement tools, scorecards, and analytics
· Develop and execute plans for effective and successful on boarding of new employees
· Identify and demonstrate an understanding of The Walt Disney Company (Shanghai) Limited competitive advantage and employment value proposition that results in effective candidate engagement
Manage the overall administrative work for the department, including developing plans, developing and executing processes to accomplish the work effectively and efficiently, and managing the direct department administration related to leading a team.
Develop and maintain current understanding of LOB business drivers and dynamics that affect requirements for hiring
· Effectively utilize tools, technology, process efficiencies
· Lead and Manage an effective candidate engagement strategy
· Lead and manage the On Boarding documentation process and components such as Offer letters, Welcome packet materials, Background checks
· Lead relocation support in China
· Build and implementation Pre-arrival education and preparedness
Requirements:
7+ years of working experience with 3+ years of formal management and team leadership experience
2+ years HR and/or Recruitment experience
· Experience in a complex business environment
Experience working with a demanding client group
Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail, especially as it relates to written communication and follow-up
Ability to build strong relationships
Multi-task oriented. Able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Superior customer service
· Superior written and verbal communication skills
