projects directly linked with ZF growing in Asia-Pacific.

The Material Management Talent Pool Program aims
to attract professionals with at least 3 years’ experience in the field of
purchasing, logistics or supplier quality management. The recruitment will be
done exclusively through an assessment center to ensure a professional and fair
selection of the best candidates. The selected talents will benefit from a 2
years training and key projects program. After these two years, each employee
of the talent pool will be offered a position in line with his profile and his
performance during the program in Asia-Pacific.
Make a difference
Over the two years period the candidates complete
two to four key Material Management projects, each lasting six to eight months.
Each of the projects is completed at a different ZF location in China. All the
offered projects are real projects with significant impact on ZF’s Sales and
Financial results.

2. Directly report to the Head of Material Management Asia-Pacific,

1. Supply Chain Planner/Designer
2. SCM Optimization Specialist

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical
engineering or similar
2. Min. 3 years of experiences in an purchasing, supply chain or supplier development position, ideally in the automotive industry
3. Very good English language skills, German would be an asset
4. Commitment to relocate after the program into a ZF Asia Pacific location
Position 1: Supply Chain Planner
Responsibilities
1. Providing Supply Chain knowledge and experiences to answer ZF internal customers’ expectations
2. Be responsible to define best practice processes related to warehouse, good receipt layouts, transportation concepts, material planning steps based on ZF standards, as for example
a) Electronic supplier communication (EDI or web EDI)
b) Inventory control and management
c) Demand / capacity planning and forecasting
d) Material planning and disposition process
e) Packaging planning (inbound /outbound)
3. Flow of internal materials
4. Concepts with logistics service providers
5. Ensure implementation of ZF group relevant standards (methods, processes, tools, KPI)
Qualification
1. 3 to 5 years working experience in Supply Chain management at manufacturing plant or consulting company with respective track record
2. Academic degree (economics, logistics, supply chain management)
3. Basic German in addition to English and local language would be an advantage
4. MS Office, SAP MM, WMS, PP, SD modules

Position 2: Supply Chain Management Optimization Specialist
Responsibilities
1. Classify plants according SCM excellence criteria, actual performance and trends (ITR, DPM-I, DPM-O, log. costs)
2. Develop regional, annual plan for plant development and get commitment of affected BU’s and Divisions
3. Analyze situation of dedicated plants using a standard approach and common toolbox
4. Establish action plans together with plant and BU management for short, mid and long term improvements
5. Support actively in realizing the measures as well as follow up together with plant management team
6. Enhance toolbox
Qualification
1. 3 to 5 years working experience in leading position in supply chain management at manufacturing plant or consulting company with respective track record

Responsibilities
1. Supporting the ZF Facilities through procurement of all commodities needed
2. Supporting the implementation of the ZF commodity strategies
3. Managing the whole purchasing process for new plants through supplier search, RFQ´s, negotiations, warranty agreements and purchasing orders
4. Conduct market and spent analysis of the respective commodities
5. Monitoring the performance of suppliers up to the start of production
6. Responsibility for projects within the Corporate Commodity Organization
Qualification
1. Bachelor degree or Master degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, good economical knowledge and broad knowledge of the purchasing-environment

1. Implement commodity specific supplier management strategies within the region
2. Lead cross functional assessments according to ZF standard
3. Execute commodity specific strategic supplier development
4. Support the Division / BU /Plant during industrialization process and regarding parts failures according to ZF standard
5. Evaluate, monitor and optimize production and testing methods of the suppliers
6. Risk analysis and feasibility study regarding quality and ability to deliver
7. Weak point analysis for reduction of potential risks, elimination of shortcomings
8. Sourcing suppliers in a commodity team in accordance with ZF standard
9. Define product related quality targets and put them into practice, costs and timings in a team with Development, Planning, Logistics and Supplier

Responsibilities
1. Project management for supplier development activities before SOP
focused on achievement of the degree of maturity for purchased parts including ensuring of feasibility, requested delivery dates and capacity
2. Responsible for industrialization projects on supplier side (Launch Management) regarding critical customer projects
3. Monitoring of the overall project status including a regular, data based project tracking
4. Managing of the cross-functional teams including delegation and tracking of the relevant project tasks to the team members
5. Preparation and implementation of project meetings and steering committees including preparation of relevant documents and presentations
6. Escalation to steering Committees in case of foreseeable high risks including definition and monitoring of suitable, corrective actions
7. Execution of escalation meetings with suppliers
8. Implement and coordinate corrective actions to optimize supplier performance and to fulfill the customers’ requirements
