MAIN JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
? Act as the liaison with government and other relevant bodies at the national and local level to negotiate and influence Biddings and tendering decisions leading to positive outcomes for our company.
? Develop / implement pricing Strategy with top managements and monitor across China
? Execute Bidding Process for driving positive outcome for our company.
? Collect & analyze short & long term strategic direction of Bidding / Tender policy and how it will affect our company. Propose solutions
? Monitor HC Reforms, translate implications for our company and communicate to Senior Leaders
? Participate in Industry affair groups and report direction appropriately
? Keep abreast of the best Bidding / tendering practice so as to develop our company’s position and plan for improvement at internal and external context.
? Understand and analyze BUs’expectations and needs in Bidding / tendering; establish close working relationship with BU partners; Work with BUs and relevant departments to develop and define Bidding / tendering strategies and recommendations.
? Assess the efficiency & effectiveness of the overall Bidding / tendering activities. Develop and maintain overall database for Bidding/ tender activity and their related reporting and communication.
? Partnering with BU, input to global & local product development teams to ensure that Bidding / tendering requirements are incorporated into product plans through product development and product launch processes.
? At the appropriate time To build and manage the national Bidding team; Lead, develop, manage & coach Bidding / tendering managers
? Establish internal controls and KPI’s
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
? Education: Degree holder. Healthcare related educational background is highly preferred.
? Experience and Skills:
o At least 8-10 years’ experience in Bidding/ Tendering management, government relations, sales or marketing function in multinational pharmaceutical or medical device companies
o Strategic, analytical and capable of setting up processes and procedures
o Result-oriented, strong execution capability and a solution provider
o Strong leadership and communication skill
o Fluent in Chinese and English
o Capable of working in a matrix environment
o Results orientated – strong execution
o Hands on approach
