Position: Head of Logistics

Location: Beijing

Your Responsibilities:
? Developing the company in the case of Production & Logistics. Conceiving, deciding on and defining the product portfolio (together with the respected areas and with the relevant VWR/VWZ Germany and VCIC units) as well as ensuring marketability in consultation with the respected areas of VCRA and with the Technical COO of VCRA.
? Ensuring attainment of corporate goals based on the defined master plan and monitoring of directly assigned functions.
? Devising and tracking measures to attain the defined goals and, where appropriate, initiating necessary goal attainment measures.
? Breaking down the defined corporate goals for the Production and Logistic division of VCRA. Planning and monitoring of budgets and monitoring compliance with standards, directives, instructions, rules and regulations.
? Representing the Production and Logistic division and advocating its interests to senior management, supervisory bodies, the Group brands, Group head office, the statutory co-determination bodies and the legal authorities, as well as in relation to customers, service providers, government agencies, professional bodies and other third parties at home and abroad.
? Approval of functional, organizational and administrative proposals in matters relating to his/her role.
? Carrying out specific duties relating to the post-holder's role according to his/her skills and experience.
? Specifying and monitoring environmental and health and safety measures.
? Advising other business units and third parties (VW AG/subsidiaries/cooperation partners) on request and in consultation with the parties concerned.

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:
? Technical degree from university, Dipl.-Ing. or similar degree

Personal skills:
? Good network in the VW-Company

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? Project management
? Good command of English
