Finance Operations Manager - Japan Accounts Receivable Operation
Finance Operations 部門は北京のアマゾン中国に於いてAmazon.co.jpの取引先との売掛金業務をするJapan Accounts Receivable Support teamを日々管理監督するマネージャーを募集します。このポジションは月末の会計報告処理、勘定科目の突き合せ、内部統制に関する業務を管理監督することも求められます。このマネージャーは５名から１０名の部下を持ち、担当部署の統率者として精度の高い業務をし、中国と日本の上司にレポートします。業務はそれに留まらず、Global Accounts Receivable部門がより良くなるような革新的なソリューションとプログラムを特定、作成、発展、導入することも求められます。このマネージャーは日本とインドにある日本関連の売掛金管理部門、Finance Operations の会計部門、米国本社の会計部門, 財務部門、配送センター部門、日本の各ビジネス部門と協力しながら世界トップレベルの売掛金業務を構築してもらいます。
Amazon China is seeking an experienced candidate to overseeing a day-to-day operation of Japan Accounts Receivable Support team located in Beijing, China which operates Amazon co.jp’s business-to-business AR transactions mainly. The individual will also be charged with overseeing the month-end financial reporting process, account reconciliation review, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. The individual will supervise 5 to 10 junior members, deliver solid results as a functional lead, and report to mangers in Japan and China. This individual will be also required to identify, create, develop, and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our Global Accounts Receivable organization. This position will team with Global Accounts Receivable team in Japan and India, Finance Operations Accounting and Analysis, Central Accounting, Retail Finance, Fulfillment Center Operations and business organizations in Japan to build world-class accounts receivable solutions.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to hire, develop, and lead a team, managing employees, prioritizing and directing work, meet tight deadlines, efficiently interact with various internal and external teams to drive the processes of receivables, and improve processes. Amazon.com never stops rapidly evolving the business. The same goal also applies to Finance Operations team. This position is suitable for an individual who would strongly like to commit for operational improvements rather than repeatedly processing the same operations day in and day out.

Key responsibilities of the team:

1. Respond to inquiries of vendors/business partners
2. Collections from vendors
3. Process adjustments and write-offs of outstanding balances
4. Review financial data
5. Create or edit invoices for multiple business functions
6. Cash application of wire transfers, credit memos, and deduction from outstanding payable balances
7. General and sub ledger account reconciliations
8. Attend and discuss issues in various meetings
9. Kaizen and Green Belt projects

Basic Qualifications:
1. 財務、会計、又は同等の専攻で４年制大学を卒業していること
2. ８年以上の財務会計に関する業務経験があること
3. 部門を管理した経験が３年以上あること
4. 業務のペースが速く、かつ急速に変化する環境にて最小の指示で業務ができ独立心と起業家の精神があること
5. 対人関係に強みがあり、日本語と英語に長けていること
6. PivotやVlookupなどが自在に使用できるエクセル能力を持っていること
7. 思慮深いリーダシップスキルがあること
8. マルチタスク能力を発揮しながら予定通りに仕事を完結できること
9. 期待以上の成果を出す気概と業務態度を持っていること
10. 中国で働く資格があること
1. B.S. or B.A. in Finance / Accounting or related field required
2. 8+ years of relevant financial and operational experience required
3. 3+ years of team management experience required
4. Independent and entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
5. Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral Japanese and English language skills
6. Excellent Excel skills (knowledge to instantly use pivot-table and vlookup)
7. Prudent leadership skills
8. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while supporting multiple processes
9. A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
10. Eligible to work in China

Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA取得者またはUSか日本の公認会計士の資格保持者
2. 全体像を見ながら細部を分析する能力を有する人物
3. オラクルの会計ソフトの経験者
1. MBA or CPA preferred
2. Advanced analytical skills including the ability to get into the details while also seeing and understand the big picture
3. Experience with Oracle Financial Applications a plus
