职位描述
The Event Marketing Director plays a key role in the development and implementation of event marketing plans and strategies that will achieve current and long-range marketing and event objectives. The Event Marketing Director will be responsible for all areas of the marketing process, including strategic, creative, financial and tactical.
Candidate responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensuring audience growth to all live events, increasing return attendance and advocacy from edition to edition.
Growth and health of online communities.
Training of marketing team to develop compelling stories around which campaigns are crafted.
Leveraging of customer insights and analytics to support new marketing initiatives, inbound/outbound lead nurturing and lead generation activities, and training of staff for the same.
Develop and execute attendee & exhibitor marketing plans, including marketing tactics, new idea generation, partner outreach, and sales support Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations/logistics, registration, content and outside vendors to ensure accurate execution of marketing campaigns Manage the creation and deployment of marketing communications and collateral including emails, online ads, websites, print collateral, direct mail, event signage etc. – to ensure they accurately reflect event branding, positioning and key messaging
Write and update marketing & sales material copy for emails, website copy, social media, sponsorship/sales materials, print collateral, online ads etc. Lead Web development and design teams to develop look & feel of marketing campaigns
Lead public relations outreach and maintain positive working relationships with media outlets Research, initiate, secure, and execute barter/media partnerships for each of the events
Plan and execute social media initiatives to promote event engagement, awareness and registration
Regularly analyze the performance of marketing tactics and campaigns to determine effectiveness
Support the sales team with effective marketing materials and business development ideas so they can maximize sales from sponsors and clients
Manage marketing budgets for each event
