Job description:
Azure is looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced Procurement Engineer to execute procurement of wind related components. Job responsibilities:
- Be a strong, proactive member of a growing team of experienced wind energy professionals, based in Beijing
- Lead procurement procedures for sourcing of wind and non-wind technical equipment and materials
- Track market trends of key component suppliers and raw materials throughout the Chinese wind industry
- Develop cost breakdown analysis based on local material prices
- Participate in vendor factory visits, quality and capability assessment
- Negotiate equipment and material supply contract technical terms and conditions
- Follow-up with vendor for procuring and sourcing the raw materials
- Develop specialized inspection protocol according to international standards
- Execute inspection of component and material production, manufacturing, design implementation, quality

control and quality assurance
- Oversee shipping logistics and customs requirements
- Communicate to Clients about the results found in a professional and accurate manner via written reports

and / or oral discussions
- Communicate both written and orally in English and Chinese at a high technical level

Applicant requirements:
- University degree in engineering sciences
- At least 3+ years of technical experience in the wind industry
- Deep knowledge manufacturing processes and quality control and assurance
- Experience with procurement and sourcing of wind turbine components
- Excellent computer skills; at minimum excellent capability in Word, Excel & PowerPoint and good knowledge of

computer programming language
- Strong learning, technical and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and adaptation skills
- Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member
- Chinese is your first (native) language, and you are proficient in oral and written English
