Responsibilities:

· Co-ordination of strategic initiatives of Volkswagen Group China, across functional departments within the company, as well as with its Joint Ventures and subsidiaries in China

· Steering and aligning external Management Consulting projects, prepare briefing documents, report progress, and provide insight and input for these projects

· Research, analyze and compile structured reports on future China Trends (e.g. urbanization, new mobility, regulation…) towards 2020/2025 in China and summarize implications for the top management

· Collect information on ad-hoc questions from top management and prepare reports



Requirements:



Necessary education:

· Master’s and above in a technical or natural science discipline

· Wide and founded knowledge in economics or statistics is an advantage



Personal skills:

· Ability to think strategically

· Ability to coordinate transnational teams and activities

· Strong experience in China automotive industries

· High quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

· Ability to think strategically and beyond frameworks

· Intellectual ability to bridge economics, market developments and technology to derive conclusions

· Ability to communicate multi-disciplinary topics to a technical audience



Working experience (in years):

· At least 2 years relevant work experience



Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

· English (must)

· Mandarin (must)

· German (an advantage)
