We are opening our new Deli, Cafe and Bar in Lido area, Chaoyang district soon. Therefore we are looking for a new team member at your earliest convenience:

CHEF FOR NEW OPENING SWISS CAFE & DELI IN LIDO AREA (UPPER EASTSIDE)

YOUR ROLE
You are the key person to satisfy our guests, preparing high quality, simple Swiss food. You are responsible for the whole food process from stock management, preparing the food, presenting the food, consult the guests with your recommendations, help to improve and update our menu with daily and weekly specials and build up a strong relationship with our guests. With your friendly, young, open-minded and dynamic personality you will enhance our customer retention and attract new guests day by day.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Full-time or part-time possible
- Responsible for stock (in-time ordering of fresh ingredients)
- Preparation and cooking of Swiss / European meals
- Consult our guests with menu explanations and your recommendations
- Bring in your ideas about daily / weekly specials
- Find out what guests like and how to improve and update the menu
- Serve our guests with food and drinks
- Be close to our guests, build up trust and relationship
- Analyse our customers’ needs and wishes by pro-active communication
- Be part of our Peach International Group
- If very strong ability: become Kitchen manager for all outlets: train new chefs, define menu, specials, consult in kitchen and equipment buying process

REQUIREMENTS
- >3 years Work experience as a Chef for Western Cuisine
- Open to try out new menus and meals
- Extremely strong focus on quality and hygiene
- Motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, honest and trustful person
- Open-minded and extroverted – happy to talk to guests and team members
- Interested to work in an international team and start-up business environment
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Good skills in both spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin)
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure independently
