Filtration and HVAC Sales Engineer

Position overview:
HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Sales Engineer needed to assist with sales, design, and implementation of indoor air quality projects related to HVAC, filtration, and/or energy savings. The Sales Engineer works with the HVAC project team to assist in assessing scope requirements, designing solutions, preparing proposal content, presenting or communicating concept to clients as necessary, coordinating resources to implement, and then project managing or overseeing execution to ensure quality on-time delivery. The Sales Engineer may also occasionally evaluate and integrate new technology into our offerings.
Responsibilities:
? Assist with HVAC-related solutions projects including but not limited to:
o Inspection and HVAC system audits
o Design and implementation of filtration and indoor pollution-mitigation systems
o Design and implementation of ERV (energy recovery ventilation) and HRV (heat recovery ventilation)solutions
o Indoor air quality monitoring systems
? Some administrative duties, e.g. preparation of presentations and proposals, some translation work
? Interact with outsourced service provider partners
? Interact with clients during visits: understand needs, explain solutions, and assess on-site systems to help create appropriate solution
? Support sales staff proposal creation with solutions’ recommendation and pricing
? Assess new technologies so we can offer clients wide range of best-in-class solutions
Requirements:
? Educational background in HVAC or mechanical engineering
? Work experience in HVAC services, HVAC manufacturing/installation, facilities maintenance (service provider or in-house team) as technical consultant, HVAC engineer, project manager, or solution sales
? Possess ASHRAE or other industrial hygiene or environmental auditor certifications
? Experience in start-up or international company a plus
? Must be a local hire and currently located in either Suzhou, Beijing or Shanghai (or be willing to relocate)
? Friendly and inquisitive personality; pay attention to detail; able to work independently
? Native Mandarin speaker with strong written English, able to write proposals and presentations in English
? Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience using CAD a plus
? Fun, team-oriented, likes to learn and solve challenges
? Passion for making a difference and helping clients
Work location & hours:
? About one-third of work time is visiting clients locally; remainder of time is typically spent in office
? Infrequent business travel
? Working hours are typically from 0930-1830, but our company supports a flexible and project-based work schedule; work may entail occasional Saturday mornings, but if required, will be offset by time off on another workday

? Shanghai office: 77 Tai’An Rd, Changning District, located near Lines 1, 9 (Xujiahui) and 10 (Jiaotong University)
? Beijing office: Jing Chao Building, 5 Nong Zhan Guan South Road, Chaoyang District, located near line 10 (Tuanjiehu) and easily accessible through multiple bus routes
? Suzhou office: Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP)
Benefits:
? Monthly base salary and professional allowance of 5000-8000 (pre-tax) depending on experience
? Performance bonus of up to 100% of base salary will be awarded based on projects completed
? 10% sales commission will be rewarded for new services or products business brought in from new sources
? Annual vacation: National holidays + 5 days of paid personal vacation (10 days starting second year)
