Job Description
Primary objective is to drive sales through distribution network so as to achieve and increase sales budget through all kind of marketing initiatives. The job responsibilities include managing seminars, product campaigns, Prisma registration module, annual distribution convention, FAE certifications, on-line marketing, e-commerce, & through the close collaboration with Value Added Resellers (VARs) to expand ST business & market share, to ensure that planned sales budgets are achieved/exceeded.
-Driving sales through distributors to ensure budget are achieved and exceeded through all kind of marketing initiatives.
- Maximizing sales through demand creation & demand fulfillment via Value Added Resellers (VARs)
- Securing the best possible prices so as to translate opportunities into sales
- Engaging regional marketers to secure quotes for strategic customers.
- Close follow up with marketing to provide consistent and timely price quotations to distributors & VARs.
- Increasing company’s competitive edge in the market by gathering information about competitor’s strength and weakness, by monitoring market trends and establishes demand creation activity reports.
- Implementing sales strategies (pricing, policy, product/solution promotions) by organizing distributors’ & VARs' reviews with marketers and other supporting groups.
- Organizing meetings and/or teleconferencing among VARs, customers and ST’s customer service, field quality and technical support groups to provide support and service to the VARs and their end-customers.
- Embarking to online marketing to ensure ST reach all the potential mass market customers within GCSA with wide varities of languages & culture via e-commerce.
- Performing comparison of actual results versus sales budget, organizing meetings to understand the contributing factors if results of VARs are not in line with the sales budget and to analyze and develop strategies with the VARs to correct the situation in order to improve sales results and market penetration.
- Develop effective working relations with the business units, product marketing, application, quality, customer service, logistics, and other sales groups.
- To manage the Prisma Registration portal effectively by working closely with business management, marketing, IT & division
Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of related sales experience.
-Must be self-motivated & operates under general supervision only.
-Builds and maintains network of colleagues and customers to establish new prospects and business solutions to mass market customers.
-Strong Oral and written communication skills in English
-Strong Interpersonal and human relations skills
-Data analysis skills, Demonstrates initiative & proactive, Team player
-Fundamental Business knowledge
-Sales channel knowledge
-Semiconductor industry knowledge
