Job Purpose
The purpose of this job function is to plan, execute, lead, and manage IC design CAD applications with UNICAD design methodology support for ST internal customers, and ST external customers in Greater China, Singapore and Asia Pacific at large. To provide IC CAD technical support to facilitate silicon design solution and accountable for GC & SA compute farm for all R&D sites.

Job Description
? Experienced in Platform computing farm system setup, refinement, and maintenance, provide total solution to customer, and enhance productivity efficiency;
? Experienced in ST UNICAD and EDA software/ Soc design flow installation, upgrade and evaluation, provide sophisticate application support for internal and external customers;
? Responsible for regional LAN/WAN license server configuration and maintenance;
? Good skill for NetApp filer setup , provide end user daily support for account creation, disk quotas constraint, to ensure utmost design and CAD data security to the network;
? Responsible for data management/synchronization for multi-site cooperation project, to provide Installation and configuration of data management such as SVN, RSYNC, Synchronicity etc.;
? Responsible for database backup and recovering policy setup, familiar with VERITAS, TSM backup system;
? Responsible for providing statistics and strategic planning to support hardware and software investment and expanding;
? Develop and provide technical related training for design teams to be familiar with CAD environment and applications.

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree in computer science or electronics engineering or relevant;
? Familiar with EDA design environment (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, etc.);
? Good Unix OS shell scripts skill;
? Experience for CAD customer support, service delivery and project management;
? Good communication skill for problem solving, experienced in working with multi-culture personality with team work spirit;
? Ability of leading team to work under pressure with customer focusing attitude;
? Sophisticated in team building and personal development;
? Fluent in both of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
