Operations Manager (Beijing)

Our client is a leading serviced-office and virtual office provider in Asia. They are now looking for a hands-on Operation Manager to lead their Beijing center.

Location: Beijing
Report Line: Area Director

Responsibilities:
? Logistics management: Ensures that the centre’s machinery and equipment have the ability to produce goods and services for the client at an acceptable standard.
? Budget management: The operations manager may obtain the requirements for logistics and coordinate with General Manager to obtain the necessary approval for the budget or approval within her level. The manager ensures that quality equipments are procured within the budget.
? Operational strategizing: Apart from logistics management, the operations manager plays a key role in chalking out the overall operational policy.
? Manage support services: As each team member is delegated a specific role in the day to day operation and overall revenue generating activities of the Centre, the Operations Manager plays a vital role in maximizing the output of the various support services such as, IT, finance and HR.
For example: The Operations Manager may—in consultation with the IT services personnel—procure Servers that helps the organization store huge amount of confidential data in a secure manner.
? Managing third party relations: An organization may make use of different third party services, such as Carpet Cleaners, Computer Technicians, External Auditors, Bank or even Temporary employees.
The Operations Manager needs to ensure that standard procedures are followed when third parties are hired. Also, needs to ensure that the necessary administrative and legal formalities are completed.
Lastly, the manager ensures that the third party properly executes the agreed terms and conditions as stated in the agreement or contract.
? Client Relations: To ensure that relationship with clients are maintained within company standards.
? Initial invoicing: To receive booked Service Agreements and ensure that Sales has inputted the correct information and values in raising the initial invoice as succeeding monthly invoices to be prepared by the Centre Accountant.

Qualification:
? A Bachelor’s Degree from respectable University, preferably graduated from Business or Administration major
? Strong background in Serviced Office industry; with at least 3 years experience in a Managerial or Supervisory post
? Possesses excellent communication skills and has good English
? Possesses a pleasing personality, team player and flexible
