Job Purpose:
This position will support the Business Controls function within Health Science in terms of management reporting and business analysis, covering the region Greater China & Korea.

Key Result Areas
Monthly management reporting
- Preparation of monthly management reporting and disseminate to individual divisional managers
- Reports include Divisional P&L, Marketing & Advertising, T&E, ELP sales data by customer/ by title
- Provide non-quantitative data from business units to GFS/ HS Business Control in Singapore for Hyperion upload, eg. Q01 & Q02 reports, pharma confirmation
- Quarterly reporting of inter-company royalty to GMR
Pipeline and confirmation tracking/ analysis
- Maintain pharma status and local journals status reports
- Ensure consistency in product lines reporting across the region
- Distribute status reports to relevant managers on a regular basis
Customer Billings
- Ensure all documents are in place prior to billing & revenue recognition, eg. Contract, P&L, Delivery Order & Sample copy
- Facilitate new customer account set up in Oracle
- Responsible for Oracle billing for Korea Pharma & Local Journals
Assist the business in other finance-related issues
- Assist the business controller in the Budgeting/RF process in setting up the input templates and preparing historical data for analysis

Analytical skills, spreadsheet skills, customer focus, and understanding of operational workflows
General Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Highly motivated and independent individual
- Understanding of the operational workflows
- Proficiency in MS Office applications with strong competency in Excel
- Experience in using Oracle
- Ability to communicate effectively with the global offices?
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred
- At least 1 year relevant working experience in a financial planning and analysis role
- Proficient in both English and Chinese
