Job Function - Support Qualcomm CDMA/WCDMA/LTE chipset customers pass operator certification.
- Help customers to understand operator UX/UI requirements, pre-test OEM devices before operator lab entry and help OEMs to get devices certified within the project schedule,
- Provide instructions and support for customers to debug/resolve issues in OEM software
- Debug problems reported by test teams, provide the analysis until the root cause is found and bugs are fixed.
- Provide periodic feedback and summary of test failures/fixes to leads
Responsibilities - More than 2 years of hands on development/debugging experience on Android based devices
Strong understanding of Android UI framework
Experience on UI, 3rd party APKs, GMS apps debugging and fixing issues.
Experience on telephony/RIL/power/User Experience/Multimedia. Understanding of camera and audio tuning
Understanding of various modes of testing like Sanity, functional, stability, stress, KPI etc is must
Engineering graduate with good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Should be able to communicate in English well.
Workable understanding and testing experience on GSM/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA / UMTS and LTE network.
Familiar with conformance TE, such as Anite/Anritsu/Agilent
Knowledge on 3GPP/3GPP2/CMCC standards is a plus
Experience in CTA/China carriers (CMCC, CU, CT) testing is a plus
System level Test Case execution, CR tracking and sharing consolidated reports on a daily/weekly basis.
Provide technical support to customers by giving assistance in trouble shooting, issue identifying and analysis and by providing detail information to development team.
Strong debugging experience on Android mobile devices is a strong requirement and excellent C/C++ programing experience is a must
