Role Summary/Purpose

System Reliability Engineer has design responsibility to deliver customer workflow, feature functionality, product quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, regulatory, compliance, and cost. Activities include requirements development, traceability and flow down, CTQ identification and flowdown, architecture / system design and analysis, FMEA, developing/executing System V&V procedures, and providing support to manufacturing and field issues for complex topics.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Lead X-ray C-arm product reliability design and verification
-Lead team to set up NPI product reliability target and executive strategy
-Lead to create the reliability requirements for system/subsystem/component
-Break down the reliability specifications from system to subsystem or components
-Lead to make the sampling size strategy in tradeoff between quality, cost and schedule
-Making the cycle test protocol/plan and lead the review with team
-Design and realize automatic test device for system/subsystem reliability test
-Help team to conduct the cycle test , monitor and maintain reliability test environment
-Report defects during the test activities and root cause analysis for improvement
-Help designer to track and resolve the issue occurs during the test
-Archive reliability design and verification result
2. Lead Environment test of C-arm product
-Management of the environment tests (temperature, humidity, pressure, vibration, shock…..)
-Responsible for lab rent inside or outside of GE
-Responsible for test protocol making & test conduction
-Defect analysis and test report archive.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Educational background on electrical-mechanical or reliability engineering, Master degree or equivalent
2. 3+ years working experience
3. Have design/realize experience of automation test instrument
4. Have theory knowledge of reliability design & test
5. Experience of system reliability design, test, statistic and analysis
6. Responsible, activate and strong ownership sense
7. Good at communication and cross function coordination
8. Clear thinking and good expression
9. Good communication skill in English written & spoken
