职位描述
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the overall talent management process within APAC region. Support the regional talent development initiatives. Maintain the regional succession planning effort. Provide timely support to the professionals on the career development exercise. Works under minimal supervision by Regional leadership.
Principal Duties & Accountabilities:
? Provides professional level support to the Regional Leadership Team in following areas:
o Talent Review
o Succession Planning
o Professional Individual Development Plan
o Mentoring Program from HIPO and ELs
o Young professional rotational program
o Professionals career planning
o Coaching
? Manage the overall regional talent review process every year. Ensure it is completed timely according to the Corporate and Business Line requirements.
? Take the lead of the succession planning effort for all the critical regional positions. Ensure all the critical positions have succession plans.
? Identify the talent gaps through the talent review and succession planning process. Notify staffing functions about the talent gaps and ensure a recruitment plan to address these gaps.
? Train and educate the professionals within the region on how to establish effective individual development plan. Regular follow-up with the supervisors and professionals to ensure the plans are on the right track.
? Organize Individual Development Plan review meetings for HIPOs and ELs to ensure the plans are followed on a timely manner.
? Manage the regional Mentoring Program to ensure the program is going well. Organize the mentoring meetings as required.
? Manage the regional young professional rotational program to ensure the rotation plans are followed. Organize timely feedback session.
? Collaborate with the Learning and Development function; lead the regional leadership development program.
? Others as assigned.
Management Responsibility:
? Individual contributor with no subordinates.
? Acts in capacity of a “lead person”. Need to work closely with the HR Business Partner on various talents management initiatives.
? Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates. List supervised positions:
? Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individuals comprising this team may vary by project.
Education, Work Experience and/or Training – typically possessed by qualified candidate.
? Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
? Experience: 8+ year’s progressive HR experience, at least 3 years of working experience in talent management area including succession planning experience.
? Training: HR Certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – typically needed for competent performance:
? Excellent English skills including speaking, listening and writing.
? Good understanding of HR programs.
? Good understanding of talent management process and concept.
? Good understanding of division’s business operations.
? Global perspective of common business practices and impact on business.
? Strong human relations skills, including ability to influence and negotiate.
? Strong multi-tasking skills.
? Good leadership ability (team building, coaching, mentoring, change management, advising)
? Strong problem solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
? Basic understanding of Human Resource Information Systems.
? Strong communication.
? Able to travel on a needed basis in the region.
