SUMMARY: This field based position will be responsible for providing premium support for CFDA clinical trials as well as scientific support for key opinion leaders whom are interested in developing new applications for Bruker systems. This position will also be the primary liason to Bremen R&D, Global Scientific Affair and will be responsible for communicating updates to Bruker Daltonics and alliance partners on product addition and changes within the assigned geographic areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Technical training and follow-up for CFDA clinical trials Management and scientific support of KOLs working on new method validation or development of new applications in microbiology using MALDI-TOF (resistance mechanism detection, strain typing).
？ Manages collaborations for library extensions with sites in the Americas and co-ordination with Bremen R&D group and isolate contributions.
？ Develop procedure guides/training tools for new applications.
？ Liaison with other internal departments to optimize opportunities and to ensure a positive customer experience.
？ Business Development Responsibilities
o Develop network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and provide technical support for cited markets.
？ Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Field based applications support personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:
？ Ability to effectively demonstrate technical subjects to prospective customers.
？ Ability to effectively train new customers on complex systems comprised of hardware, software and testing protocols.
？ Ability to effectively manage current customers.
？ Ability to effectively collaborate and manage key opinion leaders.
？ Ability to work within multidisciplinary team-oriented work environments spanning diverse geographic locations.
？ Proven ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

Education and/or Experience:
？ Advanced degree in chemistry, biochemistry, physic or microbiology/medical technology with a strong laboratory background.
？ Experience in training and supporting customers.
？ Business background and/or MBA is a plus.

Computer Skills: MicroSoft Office, Outlook and ACT.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: BSMT, ASCP would be a plus.


Other Skills and Abilities: Self- motivated individual who is excited about new challenges and opportunity to effect/drive substantial changes in current testing processes.


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position will be field based and travel will be a necessary component of the position including international travel as required. Individual would set their own travel schedule based on most cost effective options and frequency in order to meet metrics for customer satisfaction and departmental placement/revenue goals.

Usual field based working conditions with a large percentage of time spent using a computer.
