PI has manufacturing facilities in Trenton, New Jersey and Acton, Massachusetts. Our worldwide sales and service organizations in Germany, France, United Kingdom, Japan, China and Singapore provide sales support and discuss application requirements in addition to being your local contacts for order processing and service.

Essential Functions/Duties:

* Provide Applications, software and hardware support.
* Support sales teams and channel partners and ensure they have sufficient training and product knowledge to maximize their potential to win new business
* Manage and interpret customer requirements - speaking with researchers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
* Make technical presentations and product demonstrations
* Developing and grow long-term relationships with VIP customers
* Provide feedback to company headquarters regarding emerging application trends in the marketplace
* Work with strategic customers on testing of new products to provide
feedback for necessary improvements and information for sales tools
* Skills / knowledge / ExperienceSupport marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Skills / knowledge / Experience:

* Minimum of 3 years experience in physical or life science research or related areas
* Strong software programming skilss – e.g., LabView, Matlab, C++/Visual Basic preferred
* Good oral, written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation communication skills in English and Mandarin
* Prior experience with using Princeton Instruments imaging or spectroscopy or competitive products is a plus.
* Flexibility to travel
* PhD (Preferred) or degree in Physics, Optics, Life Sciences or related area will be a plus
