Job Purpose
The Learning & Development Consultant’s main responsibilities span the areas of learning facilitation, L&D operation and client consultation. The role is responsible for develop and deliver learning curriculum to The Walt Disney International in Greater China including Studio, Disney Consumer Products, Disney English, Disney Interactive and other line of business. The individual need to work very closely with Organization Development team to provide high quality learning support based on the client’s development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
?Facilitate learning curriculum content according to annual learning plan or client adhoc needs. These classes may include (but not limited to): management skill, coaching, communication skills, heritage/history, project management, etc.
?Facilitation and tailoring training course for intact teams or learning events.
?Maintain an active knowledge of the subjects taught and stimulate enthusiasm for those subjects
?Design or provide additional tools and resources that support development beyond formal training, which may include on the job experiences or action learning and resources that drive development and the transfer of learning.
?Understand and utilize various participant learning styles in order to facilitate the best teaching and learning situations
?Plan each class, both as to content and method, to make each Disney University class minute meaningful
?Maintain a high level of expertise on Disney University’s products and services
?Identify and organize Disney University resources needed to support the curriculum.
?Works closely with Organization Development team develop learning solutions to support business needs.
?As learning consultant, analyze the learning result and drive the learning effectiveness
?Work with the team on learning program communication and marketing, and report the learning status timely
Job Qualifications:
?8 year experience in training/education or relevant industry are required
?Bachelor degree or higher education are required
?Must have strong English language ability
?Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
?Certified in Management/soft skill training delivery are preferred
?Proven strong technical proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Core Skills:
?Demonstrated strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English
?Demonstrate strong facilitation skill
?Demonstrate strategic thinking to generate training solution support business
?Demonstrate capability on training curriculum planning
?Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to change
?Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
?Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with strong attention to detail
?Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
?Demonstrated partnering skills and ability to build effective relationships with a diverse Cast
?Proven time management skills, follow through, and ability to deliver on multiple tasks
