Summary
This global trading firm is seeking a Senior System Engineer to drive its rapidly growing global marketing base in Shanghai.

Key responsibilities:
- custodian of the systems that drive the core business that takes place in the production environment from the software that places - orders directly from the market to the trading front-end
- understand end-to-end of how these components operate as one
- deliver game-changing ideas and coordinate incident responses with flawless execution on every occasion
- development or systems administration duties when required
- be involved on the trading floor as a trusted advisor to the business on operational decisions
- take on real business problems and solve them with cutting edge technology

Key requirements:
- minimum 5-7 years’ experience working as a Systems Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Release Manager or any technical - roles that require complex troubleshooting, incident management and production support
- solid understanding of Linux is required
- experience in networking, python scripting and/or software development is highly desirable
- excellent verbal, written and face-to-face communication skills
- ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in the same manner
- demonstrated ability to keep a ‘cool head’ when under pressure
