Summary:
A leading global financial institution is looking for a VP – Fixed Income Developer to join its growing team in Shanghai.

Key responsibilities:
- involve in all aspects of the software life cycle including gathering requirements from the business
- perform analysis of existing systems/functionality, design and implementation all the way through to production roll out and subsequent support
- work closely with the several global teams within the FI DPG technology department and interact directly with the business unit as - well as with the firm's middleware IT groups when using the frameworks/software

Key requirements:
- strong core java: data structures, design patterns and collections
- knowledge of multi-threaded programming, distributed systems, core Scala APIs including the collections
- fixed income business / analytical knowledge
- knowledge of functional programming idioms, java performance and tuning, grid computing frameworks, distributed caching and unix/linux shell
