An American multinational corporation which produces software for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated big data is looking for its Senior SDE.
Key Responsibilities:

? work closely with the product team to design and develop a variety of features and reusable components
? implement the features that use groundbreaking technologies
? writes production quality code for a contained complicate feature set or function area
? analyze and optimize front-end and back-end codes, and pursue simplicity, efficiency, reliability and performance
? use independent judgment to take existing code, understand its function and change/enhance as needed
? mentor junior level engineers and provide technical guidance, and engage in design and code review for other team members
Key Requirements:

? more than three years of progressive software development experience
? solid foundation in computer science, with strong competences in operating systems, computer networks, data structures, algorithms and software design
? excellent problem solving, collaboration and communication skills
? a demonstrated capability for creative thinking, intellectual and entrepreneurial exploration
? experience in large system coding and debugging skills
? experience in writing unit tests and testable codes
? experience with at least one scripting language, such as JavaScript, Python, Perl, Groovy, Ruby, etc.
? proficiency in both English and Chinese
Desirable:
? more than three years of building large sophisticated enterprise applications with proficient skills in C/C++/Java, Python, Objective C, Node.js or HTML5
? expert understanding in data analytics, Hadoop, MapReduce, R, visualization etc
? expertise in security, storage, network or relevant domain would be a plus
