Job Objective
Managing the area of responsibility according to company principles in order to meet the requirements of the whole
operative logistics change in terms of material supplies according to requirements and schedule, as well as planning
individual sales items with the aim of achieving optimized days of supply, optimized delivery service and optimized
efficiency, and to guarantee continual improvement.

Tasks / Area of Responsibility
A Personnel management tasks
1 Deployment of employees within the area of responsibility according to their qualifications, as well as
specific motivating guidance and support for employees in the fulfillment of their tasks
2 Arranging and/or implementing staff-related measures, such as the evaluation of employees and their further
education and support (personnel development tasks), involvement in personnel decisions, such as
employing new employees, releasing, transferring, regrouping employees, disciplinary measures related to
employment law etc.
3 Cost-conscious handling and support of improvement processes, ensuring the achievement of cost,
deadline and quality targets; deriving company and department targets, monitoring adherence to legal, tariff
and company regulations
B Sales planning
1 Controlling the processing of customer orders during the whole process from requirement list to call-off orders, long
and mid-term production planning to dispatch, managing special deliveries
2 Monitoring binding quantity and deadline specifications for production, setting priorities and defining the distribution
of scarce resources
3 Checking sales forecasts in production planning, comparing with available capacities and initiating necessary
adaptation of capacities in the internal factories
C Procurement planning
1 Supporting order planning and purchasing in keeping strategic supplier contacts up-to-date
2 Guaranteeing on-schedule processing of orders through supply schedules and individual orders, processing order
confirmations as well as following up and securing deadlines
3 Controlling the procurement process through respective realization of logistical requirements and measures
4 Preparing new or optimizing existing measures stock support, checking the effectiveness of measures in stock
management
5 Developing and implementing suitable procurement and supply concepts to optimize material flow, review logistic
processing with regard to optimized availability and stock levels including supplier management
D Other tasks
1 Involvement in inter-departmental workgroups and projects for the coordination and optimization of SOP and
EOP, carrying out day-to-day tasks related to new products and others
2 Involvement in logistics agreements with customers & suppliers in cooperation with those responsible
3 Checking the logistic chain settings stored in the system and arranging for their correction if necessary
4 Determining and analyzing key performance indicators and reporting to logistics controlling

Good command of English;
Auto industry experience preferred.
Could work under pressure.
