职位描述

Finance and Accounting Coordination:
1. Coordinate with US office on accounting matters
2. Supervise the work of the Finance Manager

HR management:
1. Staffing plan
1) Conduct regular discussion with executives (VPs, President) to review staffing resources demand and ensure staffing level meeting the business needs

2. Recruitment:
1) Identify and propose the most appropriate recruitment channels for specific positions
2) Review incoming CVs and make recommendations to managers
3) Conduct interviews with candidates in Chinese and English
4) Co-ordinate staffing plans and needs with other internal groups and the management team

3. Contracts of employment:
1) Negotiate job offers with potential employees
2) Sign contracts of employment with local and foreign employees

4. Induction:
1) Co-ordinate with managers to formulate the orientation program for new starters prior to their joining
2) Make sure all induction training sessions are completed and signed
3) Conduct HR induction for local staff in Chinese and international staff in English
4) Deliver basic induction training sessions including basic Word, Excel and PPT training

5. Attendance management:
1) Monitor attendance and highlight attendance issues to management
2) Actively work with managers to ensure absence is planned without disruption caused to the business

6. Performance management
1) Ensure the performance monitor of key business teams is being executed and provide business managers/line managers with guidance of the process, objectives to ensure the process and objectives are met. These will include:
a) Co-ordinate Post Project Evaluation reviews of all production staff
b) Co-ordinate with managers to ensure 3/6/8/12 month reviews are performed for new staff
c) Promotion planning and execution
2) Outcome management
a) Conduct discussions with poor performers privately or with managers
b) Coach young or new managers on key HR management issues
c) Coordinate the performance review, salary adjustment review process and ensure business heads (Senior Directors, VPs) provide their input timely and execute the actions to be taken after review

7. Policy and procedures
1) Review and update company policies and procedures as required

8. Salary review and payroll update
1) Organize and participate in the annual pay review process
2) Recommend promotions and salary increase based on benchmarks obtained
3) Propose probation salary for new joiners and co-ordinate probation reviews or other interim reviews
4) Monthly payroll update for local and foreign employees

9. Staff issues/care
1) Deal with complaints, de-motivated staff, concern for staff health and wellbeing, resolve conflicts between staff members

10. Training
1) Formulate annual training program
2) Identify training needs and co-ordinate training program execution
3) Quality control of training provided

11. Leavers management
1) Identify departure reasons and retain valuable staff if possible
2) Co-ordinate with managers to follow internal and external leavers processes

Administrative responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate supporting functions in Asia including
1) IT technician’s work and co-ordinate on IT issues with international offices
2) Receptionist’s tasks
3) In-house translation resources when required
2. Sub-contractor and part-time staff resources when required
3. Liaison with legal attorney and preliminary contract review
4. International staff’s work visas renewal and update
5. Overall trouble-shooting and risk management (i.e. compliance, human resources, others)
6. Other administrative tasks as requested by the President of Asia

Qualifications and attributes:
1. Six+ years working in HR administration and management at international companies in a regional context.
2. Certificate of Accounting Professional holder
3. Familiarity with HR policy and operational environment in key Asian countries and China is important
4. Undergraduate degree in a discipline related to Human Resources or Finance
5. MBA or other graduate level in business training would be an asset
6. Previous work experience in an English speaking setting
7. Advanced verbal and writing skills in English
8. Strong communication and negotiating skills, particularly in an interview context
9. Good judgment and problem solving skills
10. Leadership style based on integrity and sound ethics
11. Computer skills (Microsoft Office; social networking etc.)
