Job Title: SQA Manager
Report to: Director & GM-Asia Ops/Sr. Manager-Global SQA
Main Accountabilities
? Lead and manage activities of the Asia Supplier Quality Assurance (ASQA) group.
? Drive zero-defect product quality and part certification process in the supply base.
? Establish robust processes and controls to ensure suppliers' business systems can support Company PDIP and PPAP requirements, identifying and providing training as necessary.
? Supplier Quality Assessment: including supplier visits, tracking, appraisal, auditing, ranking and reporting of suppliers’ quality capabilities/performance.
? Lead resolution to root cause problem solving with suppliers to obtain corrective action and mistake proofing.
? Direct ASQA group to facilitate design, process and systems development with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in product design and process capability.
? Drive global supplier improvement activities targeting high risk and/or poor performing suppliers.
? Manage underperforming suppliers and work with global sourcing, global product development and global manufacturing to tie together supplier performance and business consequence.
? Minimize plant disruption to Company manufacturing facilities and eliminate occurrences of repeat issues found at receiving inspection and Company’s shop floor.
? Lead and manage the development and implementation of Supplier Improvement Plans to address supplier scorecard performance issues.
? Work in a cross-functional environment with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement and Manufacturing.
? Manages multiple priorities to meet schedules through sound project management methods.
? Lead and manage the progress and effectiveness of Supplier Development Plans to assure it is used as an active improvement document.
? Develop and implement processes to development an effective ASQA team
? Lead and manage daily controls, Key Process Indicators (KPI), and tie to Supplier Quality Engineering responsibilities
