We have an immediate opening in our Guangzhou Office for a Marketing Manager to join our Greater china Team.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the GM, you will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans. You will be the leader of a wonderful team where you will demonstrate your business building acumen as an architect of our brands. You will lead initiatives in collaboration with multifunctional teams, driving top line and bottom line business results by developing and translating marketing strategies and consumer insights into actionable marketing programs. Beyond the marketing role, you will also have business development responsibility for our new businesses TW and HK and help us to launch new brands to add to our portfolio. Overtime depending on performance this role can be a stepping stone to a GM position in our company.
Under the leadership of General Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
? Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing plans, promotions and budgets across all consumer touch points.
? Lead new product, line extensions and commercialization working with Product Development & Operations Teams.
? Gather and prioritize product and consumer insights needed to support the various marketing initiatives.
? Collaborate with field sales team to develop impactful brand promotions and initiatives. Conduct post launch reviews and analysis to measure effectiveness.
? Lead Development of consumer touch points: advertising, digital, social media, packaging, POS, etc.
? Monitor business performance vs. objectives, proactively identify issues and opportunities.
? Prioritise time in the field with distributors, retailers and our sales team to stay on top of latest trends and issues facing our industry and customers.
? Manage multi-functional team to ensure excellence in execution
? Build up the marketing team’s capability in professional areas
Qualifications
? BA degree in marketing or business administration; MBA preferred with 7+ years of brand/marketing experience in consumer packaged goods environment.
? Strong business acumen with demonstrated success analysing business trends and setting resulting marketing strategy.
? Strategic thinking, good at understanding the details but can quickly ladder up to the "big picture"
? Strong leadership and collaboration skills to lead and motivate cross-functional partners to deliver goals.
? Experience with natural or premium branded consumer products and understanding of multi channel distribution and the retail environment preferred.
? While a prior sales assignment is not required, the candidate must possess a good understand of the work of a sales team, how to guide a sales organization to achieve business goals.
? Computer proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
? Prior experience in the Pet Care category is not required but would be helpful.
? Fluent Mandarin written and spoken and excellent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing (foreign company/oversea study/CET6)
